Hello, I'm Becky! The photographer. The editor. The email writer, website designer, styling wizard, problem solver, you name it, I wear the hat. I am a natural light photographer that takes the documentary approach with all my weddings and portrait sessions. A little bit about me:

My journey began at Purdue University where I met the love of my life, received my bachelors in nursing, and then went on to get married straight out of college. My husband and I eloped in Maui in 2009 and we will soon be celebrating our 15 year anniversary this August! We have been blessed with 3 beautiful, wonderful, children that take up most of our time and energy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Before I started my photography career, I was fortunate enough to spend my entire {12 years} of nursing at St. Vincent hospital working in the adult ICU.  During the early years into parenthood and nursing is when I decided to pick up a camera and the rest is history.

I have now been a photographer since 2012 and have captured more than 250 weddings, thousands of portrait sessions, and a slew of miscellaneous, sometimes regretful, photo endeavors. I have been lucky enough to call many of my clients friends throughout the years, and I love that I get to document a growing family from the moment they say "yes!" and beyond.

I would describe my style as timeless, bold, documentary, story telling, editorial and clean in regards to editing. I am not your light and airy nor am I a dark and moody photographer. I do not add crazy filters or make you look like someone you are not. I love blurry, I love grain, I love magical light. I love LOVE. If it's weird and awkward, I want to document it. Because, I too, am weird and awkward.

When I'm not taking photos or editing, I'm traveling with my husband + kiddos, screaming {rooting if you want to call it} at my kids' soccer games, crime junkie researching, DIY'ing my entire house and trying to be an interior designer on the side {dreams}, and most of all living life to the fullest. I did do an ennegram test and it basically told me that I am a savage and relentless when it comes to things that I believe in. In other words, I am an 8.

I am an open book, so if you have a question, please don't hesitate to ask!
